Position Overview

The Sales & Customer Support Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality sales and customer service while supporting the organisation’s operational functions. This role serves as a primary point of contact for customer enquiries, reseller relationships, and key accounts, ensuring a professional and efficient experience across all interactions.

In addition to general sales responsibilities, the successful candidate will take ownership of a designated product category—3D Scanning and Laser Projection—developing specialist knowledge and acting as the internal lead for product-related enquiries, demonstrations, and customer support.

Key Responsibilities
1. Sales and Customer Service
  • Manage incoming phone and email enquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Act as the primary point of contact for reseller accounts, including order processing and ongoing account support
  • Prepare and manage quotes and sales orders for key and large account customers
  • Provide accurate product information, pricing, and tailored recommendations
  • Conduct follow-up communication to support customer satisfaction and conversion
2. Order Processing and Fulfillment
  • Process online orders received through the company webstore
  • Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders in accordance with company procedures
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods
3. Operational Support
  • Assist with general day-to-day operational activities as required
  • Maintain organised workspaces and contribute to efficient workflow processes
  • Support inventory handling and basic stock-related tasks where necessary
4. Product Category Ownership
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of 3D Scanning and Z-LASER / SL-LASER  products
  • Act as the primary internal resource for product-specific enquiries
  • Deliver product demonstrations and assist customers in selecting appropriate solutions
  • Stay informed on product updates, technological advancements, and market trends

Key Selection Criteria
Essential:
  • Demonstrated experience in a sales and/or customer service environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
  • Competency in basic computer systems and CAD Drawings 
Desirable:
  • Experience working with technical or specialised products
  • Interest in or aptitude for learning about 3D scanning, Scanning software, and Laser Projection 
  • Experience in order fulfilment, logistics, or warehouse support functions
